Introduction to Movement

​Introduction to Ballet will engage dancers in fundamental foundational skills essential in improving Gross Motor skills. Dancers will learn the Introductory and Foundational skills of Ballet Movement. This course will be focused upon training learners in the fundamental movements of the form Ballet. Students will learn how to focus, follow basic single step instruction, and how to focus their gross motor skills for the purpose of mastering skills.
Wavelets - Hip Hop 1 - Ages 8-11

Hip Hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Students will learn the 4 Elements of Hip Hop and the History as well as build the 4 Cs of Self Growth: Collaboration, Confidence, Connectivity and Creativity which is the aim for all children participating in the Hip Hop program.

WAVE Dance Center For the Performing Arts NFP is committed to provide current and relevant choreography representative of the popular music genre: KPop. Students in this program will engage in styles specific to pop culture icons in this genre, recreating some of the top choreography created. Students will hone their ability to perform at various showcases and more.
